Why should I have my boiler serviced?

Servicing your boiler regularly will ensure your home is safe, warm and comfortable throughout the year. It can also contribute to reduced energy bills, as well as helping you to comply with the terms of your warranty, home insurance policy and landlord agreements.

What does a boiler service involve?

Although each individual servicing job can differ, a typical service will include a thorough inspection of all parts of your boiler to ensure they are working properly. This includes checking the gas pressure, testing the internal components and the flue, searching for corrosion or leaks and cleaning any parts which require it. We will also issue a written report after the service.

How long does a boiler service take?

Most boiler servicing jobs can be completed within half an hour. If complications are discovered, such as leakages or malfunctioning components, repair work may be completed on the spot or scheduled for a later date. We will arrange for the inspection to take place at a time and date that suits you and keep you informed of any developments at every step of the process.
